EAMONN O’LOUGHLIN SUCCEEDS TIM DE BORLE AS CEO OF NAPOLEON

Date: 10 November 2022

Napoleon Sports & Casino will appoint Eamonn O’Loughlin as its new CEO. He succeeds Tim De Borle who decided to leave Napoleon after ten years. O’Loughlin is already active within Napoleon today as COO. In his new role, he will continue to focus on innovative growth and player protection, two core values in Napoleon’s corporate culture.

Current CEO Tim De Borle has decided to leave the company and pass on the baton. De Borle worked at Napoleon for a total of 10 years, in which he grew as one with the company. He started in 2012 as operations analyst and played an instrumental role in the launch of Napoleon’s online platform. As head of the online division, he advanced to the role of CEO.

“I witnessed how Napoleon grew from a family business to a Belgian online and offline market leader in the gaming market thanks to a pioneering role in innovation and player protection. I hand over this company with great confidence in the future. Alongside extremely talented employees at all levels, my successor Eamonn is absolutely the right man in the right place to lead Napoleon into an ambitious future” De Borle says about his departure.

Maintaining the focus on innovative growth and player protection

O’Loughlin will take over the torch of CEO. Before joining Napoleon, O’Loughlin was already active in the entertainment sector. In his homeland Ireland for example, he worked for Paddy Power Betfair, among others. As COO, he knows Napoleon’s operations and values in and out. In his new role as CEO, O’Loughlin will continue to focus on innovative growth and player protection, two core values in Napoleon’s corporate culture.
