DR. Michael Auer shares keynote at internal Responsible Gaming-event

At Napoleon Sports & Casino, Responsible Gaming is a cornerstone in our mission. This week, another internal event was dedicated entirely to this crucial topic.

We had the honour of welcoming Dr Michael Auer as our central guest to our headquarters at this event, attended by a large part of the Napoleon staff.

Dr. Auer’s pioneering academic research and artificial intelligence products/applications around player monitoring and interaction are at the heart of our Responsible Gaming-approach.

All that knowledge is bundled into the award-winning software of Mentor, which Napoleon has been using for years as a central tool to monitor players and keep them playing responsibly.

During the event, Dr Auer took plenty of time to explain how his innovative tools work. He provided us with valuable insights into player behaviour, how warning signals are picked up by Mentor and how to follow up on them.

Dr Auer also elaborated on the potential risks associated with different gaming products. That study was also published in the Belgian press.

In addition to Dr Auer’s enlightening presentation, Napoleon’s in-house Responsible Gaming manager also gave clear examples of player behaviour we monitored. He demonstrated specific measures we take to address individual player cases and profiles.
